The world of smart phones has changed. Today, consumers expect the most desirable phones to be touchscreen. This all started with the iPhone but as of this writing it has ended with the iclones – the phones which were originally meant to copy to the iPhone but which ended up added additional features to the iPhone that Apple apparently never thought of.
The A380i is no exception. Although this phone looks very much like the iPhone and has all of the features one would expect – a high resolution 3.0 inch touchscreen, a digital camera, Bluetooth, a video camera and player, and MP3 / MP4 players – it’s innovative improvements leave the iPhone in the dust.
For example, manufacturers of the A380i noticed that many customers were carrying around two cell phones, using one for work and one for personal life. In a light bulb moment, the designers decided to add another sim onto this phone. You can still use one sim if you don’t need this feature and you don’t need to turn the phone off for this feature to work.

Dan asked: I want to buy a smartphone off of ebay and activate it on Verizon wireless’ website. I currently have the basic $39.99 plan. Will Verizon detect that my new phone is a smartphone and automatically upgrade me to a data plan? I don’t need the data features, I just really like the smartphone.

Rae Edwards asked: There’s no question that the CECT line of iPhone clones were a runaway success. That’s because not only did CECT convincingly copy Apple’s most popular features, it greatly improved upon them. The manufacturer added an additional sim slot to make the phones dual sim, allowing consumers to have two phone numbers or plans on one phone. They also made the battery removable so you don’t have to run down to the dealer every time the battery dies. Additionally, they added more surround sound speakers. The A88 has all of these bonus features and has added two more: shake and tilt control. This means if you want to change any media (songs, video, photos, or wallpaper) you just shake the phone. There’s no scrolling or looking down. Additionally, if you want to bring the images to wide screen, you just tilt the phone.
Additional Features: The A88 has everything you would expect from a clone. Here is a very quick list of the most popular features.: Bluetooth, a 3.2 inch finger touch screen, networking support (WAP 2.0, GPRS (class 10)), MP3/MP4 players, a 1.3 mega pixel camera, a video recorder, fully functional smart phone capabilities, web browsing and email, 256 MB internal memory, with an expandable capability of 2GB more. No driver or software is required with this phone. It will automatically read your sim card and works on most GSM networks.
Appearance: This phone looks very similar to the iPhone, but it does have a small keyboard/scroll button on the bottom of the phone and it includes a stylus. It has the silver casing on the back with black on the front. There is no logo or writing on the back of the phone and most people prefer this.
Functioning And Quality: This is a very high performing cell phone. I have never found any bugs or problems with it. It is quick and efficient. The video and music quality, as well as the reception, are excellent. The shake and tilt control is very useful and makes this phone very user friendly.
Pricing: This model starts at about $120, but can vary greatly depending on where you get it. This seems a very fair price considering all of the innovative features packed into this tiny phone.

future spa guru asked: I’ve been wanting one for a while; and, now my cheap pre-paid phone was stolen. And my pocket p.c. seems antiquated to the point of a fast approaching expiration. Here’s my chance to get the best smartphone, for the money I’ll have to save for it. I need to know I’m going to get something with memory left over to run the programs I already have for my iPaq; and, the best reception.
